DMZ PEACE TRAIN MUSIC FESTIVAL
Launched in 2018, DMZ Peace Train Music Festival has performers singing of peace at the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) separating the two Koreas in Cheorwon, Gangwon-do. This event is based on the theme, “Through music, let’s transcend politics, economy, ideology, and experience freedom and peace,” even for only two days a year. The festival has diversity and inclusion as its top priorities, with no headliner. By respecting and honoring the music leading and aspired to by the times, ALPS Inc. introduces wonderful music hidden in the world by bringing together various elements to create a time and space for anyone to enjoy freely on Peace Train.
DMZ 피스트레인 뮤직 페스티벌은 전 세계 유일한 분단국가 한국 강원도 철원 DMZ 일원에서 개최되는 평화를 노래하는 음악 페스티벌로, 2018년에 시작되었습니다. 1년에 단 2일, 피스트레인에서 만큼은 “음악을 통해 정치, 경제, 이념을 초월하고 자유와 평화를 경험하자”라는 취지로 만들어졌습니다. 다양성과 포용성을 최우선의 가치로 생각하는 피스트레인에는 헤드라이너가 없습니다. 시대를 이끌었던, 시대가 열망했던 음악을 존중하고, 세상에 숨겨진 멋진 음악들을 소개합니다. 다양한 것들이 모여들고, 누구나가 자유롭게 즐길 수 있는 피스트레인만의 시공간을 만들어갑니다.
